Josh had only been there once and I hadn't been much either so we had lots we wanted to see. We went to the American history museum, ford's theater (great tour! Saw some of the monuments and walked our feet off! Here are a few pics:. H loved this splash park!

Mr and Mrs. Smith- the blog. The happenings of josh and erin. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Ok, I'm going to attempt to go back in time and update all the happenings I never wrote about. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll get caught back up! But it was pretty amazing and humbling to look around and know that every single person in that room had faithfully prayed for Harrison those three months. Here are some pics of the festivities! Precious train theme to go with his nursery! Lisa, Megan, Abby and Amanda.

Mr and Mrs. Smith- the blog. The happenings of josh and erin. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Well seeing as how we haven't posted anything since NOVEMBER (oops! Thought we should get back on the blog train. I think if I were to keep waiting to be able to summarize all that has happened and tie it up into a nice bow, I would never write on this blog again! As much as I want to close that hard chapter and move on, it will continue to be something we process for a long time to come I suppose. He still meets e...

Mr and Mrs. Smith- the blog. The happenings of josh and erin. Friday, December 20, 2013. Aaannd back to Harrison. Here are a few cute pics from Josh's phone (these are from the fall). This little sweetheart just melts his mama's heart! One of his favorite places, running around the fountain at Brixx. Not optimistic that this video will work, haven't tried to post one before. If it does work, it's harrison reciting his sunday school questions (Who made you? God What else did God make? Faith, hope, and love.

Mr and Mrs. Smith- the blog. The happenings of josh and erin. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Here are a few pics of our sweet guy lately (well, like early fall). Got the long haired look going on. The new shoes he got for his bday! Matching with mommy and daddy! Some have said he looks like a toddler James Bond. Nana got him his first magazine subscription. Good ol highlights magazine! He calls his teddy bear "tebby" (combining teddy and bear). He will randomly say things are "delicious" while eating.

I was 15 weeks yesterday. Wednesday I went to the doctor and heard the heartbeat again - so fun :). The baby had hiccups (the midwife said) while she was listening to the heartbeat. So far everything is going really well. I feel good, Wade's home from grad school and gearing up for CDS to start. The glider and the crib came in, so the nursery is even starting to take shape! Me at 15 weeks. whoa, starting to pop out. Even from the front. I can't believe it's so soon - can't wait! Posted by Kim Tapp. Gotta...
O-H, the places we'll go: April 2015
http://jlopeterson.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
O-H, the places we'll go. Sunday, April 19, 2015. First in, first out. Owen lost his first tooth today! I wasn't expecting this to happen until he was closer to 6, but the tooth had been wiggling for weeks already. Unfortunately, he swallowed it with a bite of bagel at breakfast, but the tooth fairy was understanding and appreciative of his hand-written note. :). All of the under-5 soccer teams doing a group warm-up.). Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Spring in Texas, Austin Return. Just outside their neighborho...
the blog of kimness: 4 months & counting
http://blogofkimness.blogspot.com/2011/06/4-months-counting.html
4 months and counting. My deepest apologies for my blog neglect. I always seem to put stuff on Facebook and then never make it any farther than that! Our sweet boy is growing, growing, growing, and getting cuter by the day. He'll be FIVE months next week - holy cow. He is sitting and standing if you hold his hands, grabbing toys and stuffed animals, putting things in his mouth, rolling over, eating solid food, and it probably won't be too long before he's crawling! Else put him to bed - no sir. We got hi...

the blog of kimness: Caden is here!
http://blogofkimness.blogspot.com/2011/01/caden-is-here.html
Eight days ago, our sweet Caden Mitchell Tapp joined us at 1:34 am, on January 22, 2011. He was 8 lbs, 9 oz, and 20.5 inches long. I was in labor for about 18 hours from the time I was induced Friday morning. It was a very long day, and there were points where I wasn't making any progress and the nurses suggested I could just go home and come back another day. But I'm so glad my body finally kicked into gear and allowed Caden to come before I had to do that! Posted by Kim Tapp. March 9, 2011 at 11:16 PM.
O-H, the places we'll go: Wood and Water
http://jlopeterson.blogspot.com/2015/08/wood-and-water.html
O-H, the places we'll go. Saturday, August 1, 2015. The day after our adventurous hike, our church did a Habitat for Humanity house-framing build in their parking lot. We were broken out into about 10 teams and we knocked out (I think) 37 walls in a couple of hours. Owen even got to swing the hammer a few times. It was a hot morning, but they provided breakfast and lunch for us and lots of water! A few days after that, we picnicked at the park with friends after swim lessons. While eating our sandwic...
O-H, the places we'll go: July 2014
http://jlopeterson.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
O-H, the places we'll go. Monday, July 28, 2014. We've stayed close to home for July, and it's been pretty warm (for up north), so we've been trying to stay cool. Sometimes that means playing/drinking in the sprinkler,. Hiding indoors in the A/C,. Or traveling to the splash park. Owen loves it, but Hadley is still not sure about the big structure. Here she changed her mind at the last minute when Owen was going to help her up the stairs. Notice his look of bewilderment! Finally, for those interested, we'...

O-H, the places we'll go. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The Family That Bikes Together. Since Owen kicked the training wheels earlier this summer, we've all had to find a way to keep up with him, which meant bikes all around! We take a family bike ride around the neighborhood probably 3 times a week or so. September is perfect for that! Hadley enjoys the bike trailer, although she'd prefer to be on her (Owen's old) Strider. She is starting to pick up her feet to glide, so maybe by next summer! The highlig...
