Saturday, April 18, 2015. A year ago we purchased a three day pass for the American Country Music Awards. Friday/Saturday was all day concerts and Sunday was the actual award ceremony at ATT Stadium. Friday and Saturday evening concerts were at Globe Life Park. both nights we had strong storms move in which delayed the show. Didnt really start until 9:30pm on Friday and then 11pm on Saturday, when it was supposed to start at 7:30pm both nights. Friday was me and Josh. . Finally made it, standing tickets.

Saturday, May 30, 2015. Record Rainfall and Flooding in North Texas. We had a very wet Spring. Approximately 17 inches of rain in May - second highest on record. although some areas had excess of 22 inches! The lakes are way above pool level, most toppling over the spillway. Lewisville Lake, two blocks away from our home, reached a century high - 537 feet. Our house sits at 548 feet. it was getting a little too close for comfort as we do not have flood insurance. The loft bed allows him plenty of play area in the room, which is essential for his tiny room. His bed was purchased used from online garage sale - $200. Jackie, Jill and I went for dinner at Chili's in Frisco, before heading down to another Dallas Summer Musical "Dirty Dancing". This musical was true to the movie, but there was lots of dancing, but not much singing. I think I preferred the Cinderella musical the best for songs, set and costumes. During intermission, Jill had a little fun with one of the props at Music Hall (see below). See ya next year!
