It was short and sweet, but really cool (I missed the first time he enlisted) and lots of nice things were said about him. It was done during quarters in the MK Shop at the station with his shipmates gathered around. I was so proud of him! After he was sworn in, everyone enjoyed a piece of a cake in the galley, thanks to FS1!

None of us had been to a zoo in quite awhile so it was a fun change of pace. It was a really nice zoo and we all had a good time, although by the end of the day we were completely exhausted! We found out August 22 but have kept quiet until now, just to make sure the pregnancy was going well. Today we went to our third prenatal appointment, where we finally heard the heartbeat for the first time! Today I am 10 weeks, 5 days pregnant and the due date is April 30, 2010! We're both absolutely thrilled! We're pretty excited about that!

We went to the pumpkin patch at Treworgy Family Orchards with our friends on Thursday afternoon.
