Tuesday, July 13, 2010. For the Fourth of July, we went to my mom's boat on Lake Lanier. The girls love the boat, but are scared of the water. They love dancing and jumping on my mom's beds in her boat. Lily Kate had a blast running in circles with her cousin Lucy (literally). The fireworks on Lake Lanier were BEAUTIFUL! Tuesday, February 08, 2011. We had so much fun acting out the story. Sweet Uncle Ez put a kitchen bowl on his head, used a cookie sheet for his shield, and had a wooden spoon for his sword. He was a scary looking Goliath! The girls screamed and laughed so hard as the scary Goliath came towards them. Since they were "David" they got to throw Papa Tom's rolled up socks at Goliath. Thursday, December 30, 2010. A Perfect Christmas with Abe. After dinner, the girls acted out the nativity as we read it from the scriptures using Gigi's homemade nativity scene. It was the same nativity set that Abe and his siblings played with when they were young. Then, we popped popcorn and watched "Joy to the World", the nativity story on DVD. We have to be asleep!
