Tuesday, June 7, 2011. It's been a looong time! I haven't even touched this blog in over a year! Alot has happened to the Harper family since February 2010.an overview:. We said goodbye to our home for a year: Malawi. It was definitely a bitter sweet goodbye. BUT, being pregnant as I was (I was 8 months pregnant when we took two 10 hour plan rides all the way home to MS! I was super ready to get home to family, friends and American FOOD! We had no idea what we had gotten ourselves into at this point!

Friday, November 20, 2009. Nkhoma and the village! Thought it was about time for an update :) Josh is gone for the weekend to Nkhoma with the highschoolers from the academy. I'm pretty sure Nkhoma is the name of the mountain but it could also be the area. They went to hike and camp and have a "revivial" type thing. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. After our third week here in Malawi, I think we are both starting to get into some sort of a "routine". We no longer feel like we are on a mission trip or vacation! It is beginning to feel like home :). We started school at the ABC Christian Academy Monday! The first day was only 2 hours long and one of those hours was spent in assembly so we basically just got to meet our students. My four year olds are SO cute! Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Josh and I are going to have a BABY! We are so excited beyond words. I'm 9 weeks now and due Aug. 29. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Happy Valentines Day from Malawi. Happy almost Valentines Day! I hope everyone is enjoying the commercialism of it in America! Ha I don't think it's really a recognized holiday here.I haven't seen ANY Valentines Day "stuff" in the stores. Oh well! We will probably go to this Chinese place we like in town. It's REAL Chinese.we've eaten jelly fish there before- just to try it! Ha Anyway, it's a fun place to go. And next weekend is my birthday! So that will be fun as well :).
