Thursday, November 14, 2013. Another comparison photo. Are you surprised? Notice how there is a fur throw in both photos? No detail was missed ;) People always tell me Nellie looks like me. I don't see it. And looking at this photo I still don't really see it. Except maybe our smiles, me sans dimples, and our head shape. I find genetics fascinating. And was really intrigued. As a photographer, I sometimes hear my clients say, "this isn't my good side! It was hard to get our heads perfectly straight at the camera and the lighting isn't even on our faces, but oh well! I wish the photographer in the article would have included the original photo of his subject...

Wednesday, August 29, 2012. The other night I was getting Benson ready for bed. (we are sort of in the middle of potty training! I took him to the bathroom before he got his pj's on. He decided to do it him self - go to the bathroom - so I just stood to make sure pee didn't fly all over the walls or floor! He stands on the stool, starts to make a pushing sound. and says. "no workin" "pee pee no workin"! And then told him that your pee pee works but you must not need to go! Make It and Love It.
