A little glimpse into the everyday life of the Mathew family. Monday, March 20, 2017. Jonah's Life in the NICU. Jonah spent a total of 40 days in the hospital before he came home. His first two weeks were in the NICU at St. Joseph Mercy. After I was discharged as a patient there, I was still able to stay in the hospital in what they refer to as "nesting rooms". It was such a blessing to be right down the hall from him, instead of 51 miles away. Someone sure loves his daddy! This was my view for many weeks.

Monday, August 13, 2012. This one is for you Jason. Here are some pictures of the 50 miler we did in end of July. It was a great trip and awesomely beautiful country! Frog Lake with Castle Peak in the background. Three of us made the attempt to summit this, but I ended up backing out while my neighbor and his son made it.
