Wednesday, July 7, 2010. There they were. The cables to ascend to the peak of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park were finally within my view. I could see several hundred people as they ventured to the top. I was sitting just below the switchbacks of the subdome, staring and asking myself, "Do you have it in you right now to make it up those cables? June 22, 2010. So it was finally here! The day I was going to hike to the top of Half Dome! I slept horribly the night before! Like that is going to stop me!
