Friday, June 18, 2010. My last post detailed some of the little things that I look for and appreciate. I must admit that, for whatever reason, I'm finding this to be somewhat difficult these last few days. And the worst part is that I can't really put my finger on what exactly is making it difficult. It's tough. And some days I don't want to even try. I just feel like curling back up in bed and sleeping it all away. There are days where I'm just weary. So I put on my big boy smile, and press on.

Monday, April 11, 2011. And I got really, really excited! Katie and I watched it Sunday, and it was amazing to see the different stories of people from all over the world. The struggles that some of the people go through just to get a good meal or an education. I know I get freaked out when my bank account gets a "little" low. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Here it is again. Fall. Gotta love it.the air; the colder temperatures; the falling leaves. As I've mentioned before, I love this time of year. Now, if we could just get all this without all the rain then we'd be set. I'm starting to feel that way about high school and college friends as well. I know that some of them will always be there if I need them, no matter the length of time that passes like the Perry's, Kade, Ken. I'm very excited for Friday! It's going to be awesome!

I’ve got to brag on Shannon tonight. Very proud of my girl for finishing her first marathon today! Incredibly grateful to have been a small part of taking a group of Cub Scouts camping this weekend. Short overnight trip to #GeorgeLSmith @gastateparks; canoeing, fishing, Webelos finished up their “Webelos Walkabout” requirements with a Saturday afternoon hike and picking up trash, and even roasted a few marshmallows! Quick lunch project. Now to clean up and get back to our regularly scheduled program.
