Devastating the Obvious: 11.08
http://iwalkseattle.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A Seattle couple's adventures, creations, interpretations, and outings. We have much to be thankful for this year. Tomorrow marks week 9 of the pregnancy and our little bean will be almost an inch! We're looking forward to spending time with family and I'm hoping to be able to eat at least a decent sized meal. we'll see about that. We haven't done the turkey thing in a few years so we're going to be a little more traditional this year. I have an explanation for the tiredness, lack of blog posts, etc.

A Seattle couple's adventures, creations, interpretations, and outings. Autumn Day at the Park. Syd and I went for a walk yesterday. We checked out all the leaves changing color, played at the playground, and channeled our inner Andy Goldsworthy. Leaving the house on a beautiful Autumn day. She got some air! Posing @ the park. We found quite a few mushrooms. Slides are definitely her favorite - even if they're painfully slow. Syd finding leaves for her project. Yarn: Malabrigo Chunky - Lettuce. You can e...

http://jirehang.blogspot.com/2011/07/maui-adventures-iv-snorkeling.html
Saturday, July 02, 2011. Maui Adventures IV – Snorkeling. Morning came unusually earlier – knowing that we were tired, I decided to set 2 alarms just in case since we had to check in for our snorkeling trip at 6:30 am. Did I mention being tired? 160; The wrong alarm went off; I quickly apologized and jumped back into bed. The Ocean Voyager – our mode of transport. Eric was very excited for the trip as you can see. Eric and I posing for another picture. Our stunt man Eric. After snorkeling for an hour, w...

It Must Groove: Heritage
http://jirehang.blogspot.com/2012/04/heritage.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. I have always been aware of my heritage and how privilege I am to have that in my life. Last night I was reminded of that heritage and got to marvel again at the faithfulness of God; the One who never fails! Thank you dad and mum for an amazing heritage and legacy; I am learning to trust and serve like you have. I love you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. Peter Blue | On the Mission: November 2011
http://onthemission.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Love the City Serve the City. I love my city. I haven't always been able to say that and mean it. Now, I have. Said it in the past but it felt different than it does these days. When most people say they love their city they mean they enjoy the local bakery or they like the schools or they find their neighborhood appealing. But do you really love your city? Peter Blue | On the Mission: October 2010
http://onthemission.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 21, 2010. Serve vs. volunteer. If the local church is driven by task management then all we ask people to do is volunteer to be "a part" of the church. If the local church is driven by discipleship then what we do is ask people to serve the community. Serving the community is what Jesus came to do (Matt. 20:28) and in serving the community we become more like Jesus."that's people becoming the church.". Serving the Community.Becoming the Church" I like the way that sounds. I think It's l...

Friday, July 01, 2011. Maui Adventures III – The Road to Hana. Had a rough night sleeping – kept waking up for some reason. 5:15 am came really early again today. We were hoping to get on the road at 6 am headed for Hana. Jarron manning the wheel on this drive to Hana. The view from the drive. Some of the few and far between patches of “straight” road. Our first warnings…. Ocean view from the top of the last pool before the ocean. Quick upward view of the different pools and the waterfall. Our next sto...

Peter Blue | On the Mission: December 2011
http://onthemission.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Saturday, December 17, 2011. Let Your Roots Grow. I grew up in a small town. I mean small. No stop lights and the main stop sign was a RIGHT TURN PERMITTED WITHOUT STOPPING. Small town. After moving to Seattle and going to the University of Washington I always thought a small town was something good to be from. I thought I was a city kid for life. Something has happened this past year. I have become a small town kid again.and I love it! 1) Volunteer in your city.
