Josh Jaggard - Wildlife Photography

Friday, 24 January 2014. Sanderlings and tide times - Norfolk Coast. Whilst filming and photographing the grey seals on the Norfolk coast, I came across a flock of Sanderlings on the shoreline. Normally you see individuals running around frantically looking for food. But it was getting to the end of the day and they had grouped up and were getting ready to roost. Here are the shots I got:. Keeping an eye out. Reflection of the flock. Standing on one leg to save energy. Running from the water. I spent one...

Josh Jaggard - Wildlife Photography: April 2012

http://www.joshjaggard.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 3 April 2012. Norfolk Broads - An Owl's Heaven. I have made a recent update to my website, check it out: www.wildlife-photos.co.uk. Recently I have been trying to photograph Barn Owls. A month ago, I was told of a local location where one had been spotted daily. After spending a week and a half, most mornings and evenings, the Owl never turned up. It still hasn't been spotted and it has been 3 weeks now, so I feel something might have happened to it or hopefully it had just relocated. Subscribe ...

Josh Jaggard - Wildlife Photography: September 2012

http://www.joshjaggard.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 26 September 2012. New website is up and running, so take a look and let me know what you think. Last month I took the dogs for a walk along the beach and came across a Little Tern breeding area. Since then I have been busy with my graduation and going to Morocco, so apologies for the extremely late post. Happy Little Tern chick. The adult Little Terns could be seen fishing in large quantities, diving into the water and catching sand eels. Little Tern calling for food. Always take your camera,...

Josh Jaggard - Wildlife Photography: Morning Otter

http://www.joshjaggard.blogspot.com/2012/12/morning-otter.html

Sunday, 2 December 2012. Website: www.wildlife-photos.co.uk. Facebook: https:/ www.facebook.com/JoshJaggardPhotography. In the past few months I have herd a few rumours about an otter on a local river, where I photograph regularly. After speaking to around 15 different people and visiting the site a number of times, I narrowed down the most likely area I would see it. But after reports that an otter had been killed on the road last week, my hopes weren't to high. Otter playing with some weed. Speak to as...

Josh Jaggard - Wildlife Photography: Cairngorms

http://www.joshjaggard.blogspot.com/2013/10/cairngorms.html

Tuesday, 22 October 2013. I recently came back from a trip to the Cairngorms. We were only there 3 day, which wasn't ideal but I did learn a lot from the short visit. My main aim was Mountain Hare but due to the weather conditions I didn't get to spend as much time as I had hoped on them. Photographing Red Grouse using a car as a hide. This was a much more effective way then attempting to stalk them, which I tried before. The car journey resulted in the following image. Red Grouse in the heather. Use the...
