http://milescorcoran.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. Set This Circus Down by Tim McGraw. I want to wish good luck to my cousin Erin Tuntland, who was diagnosed with liver cancer a couple weeks ago and is currently undergoing chemo. Stay strong Erin, we’re all thinking of you. I also want to send a shout out to my buddy Dan Stueland (aka wildcard) who recently got engaged. Congratulations buddy, I’m really excited for you two. (I also hope I get a chance to meet your fiancé sometime before the wedding). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, April 24, 2010. Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. Don’t worry, I didn’t title my blog Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain because I’m crying or in any way sad. I did it because the rainy season is starting, and I had an interesting conversation with someone about my eyes. Ok, well there a quick update of everything. Hope all is well back home. Wednesday, August 4, 2010. These Are My People. This was for my birthday.Honduran tradition to smear frosting on the face. This was carved into one of the pilas for my project.I was really happy to see this. This is me and Javier, the vice president for the project, in front of his new pila. It was Dia del Indio here, a Honduran holiday to celebrate a national hero, Lempira. All the kids dressed up in the school. On top of the mountain near my site. Amy, Cozza, and Mclain at a bar in Copan.

Miles in Honduras: October 2009
http://milescorcoran.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 22, 2009. Well I’m here. After three months of training and a whole bunch of detours, I finally made it to my site. Our group got officially sworn in and I arrived here in Mata de Platano the very next day on October 1, 2009. The swearing in ceremony went very smoothly and was a lot of fun. The day started with us meeting our counterparts. They all showed up on a bus and checked in with the Peace Corps Staff, who then introduced us. Julio teaches third grade at the school, is the presid...

http://milescorcoran.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 24, 2009. Change of plans.again. Well there’s the update, hopefully my next post will be from my site. If not, maybe it’ll be from back in Chicago if things here get bad. On the other hand, maybe they’ll just send us back to Miami…I wouldn’t mind spending another week with my own king-sized suite overlooking the beach. PSSorry for the lack of pictures, I forgot to bring them to the internet cafe I'm at. Next time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
