YeahI spent some time in that camp too. The topic of race seemed overdone. Black History month. White people breaking levees in New Orleans to flood black neighborhoods. Affirmative Action. Mass Incarceration. The list goes on. A few years ago, though, that topic became a bunch of little faces. How would Vy view this?

Random Thoughts on Random Things…. August 20, 2014. Heavy is the Head That Wears the Crown…. I’m admittedly tough on kickers. I’ve even said a few times that they aren’t actually football players. They do have a tough, pressure packed job, though. In that way, they aren’t too dissimilar to the President. About this time last year, I wrote another blog as the United States seemed poised to intervene in the Syrian Civil War, about just how tough it was to be President. Random Thoughts on Random Things…. September 20, 2017. That Cotton Pickin Blog. I’m not sure how old I was when I told my first racist jokebut I do remember the joke . It went something like. You know why black people don’t like Tylenol? Because they have to pick the cotton. My young mind thought it was hilarious. Not sure that’s the word I used when I told the joke originally).
