Life as the Fraurers: The Traditional Archery Journey Continues
http://fraurer.blogspot.com/2011/03/traditional-archery-journey-continues.html
Life as the Fraurers. Saturday, March 19, 2011. The Traditional Archery Journey Continues. I have been attempting to get a rabbit this winter with my traditional bow and recently.I succeeded! This is the first animal that I have taken with my traditional bow and it was very satisfying. I kept the skin so that I can try to tan it and maybe make some slippers. The fur has tons of soft down in it seeing how it is winter time. Happy trails to everyone. April 14, 2011 at 9:50 AM. View my complete profile.

Life as the Fraurers. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. This photo was literally taken out the window by my desk 5 min ago. Before these bulls showed up we've seen two sets of cow and calf every day. I went outside to get a few nicer shots. The moose in the front isn't just closer to me, he really is bigger than the other guy. FYI Jake - neither of them are legal.yet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Friday, December 19, 2008. It's been gloriously snowing here in Corvallis (and most of the Pacific Northwest) for the past five days, which has equated to three no school, snow days for me! We'll have to make some of them up at the end of the year, though.booo! Yep, we've gotten a few inches of the white stuff so far and I'm sure we'll get some more in the next few days. Sherpa Collywog: April 2010
http://colleenpal.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Well, We'll See How This Goes. So, the Eugene Marathon is this Sunday (finally! And here I am, injured, sick as a dog, and generally filled with malaise. Such a bummer. First up, the injury:. These past few months, I've gotten injured a few time, and I've taken anywhere from a few days to a few weeks off from training. Some of the injuries I knew would heal with time (quad strain), whereas others scared me a bit (anterior tibial tendonitis). Never once have I had a knee injury!

Sherpa Collywog: Reason #392 I Love Ian (Or, Garden Veggies Rock!)
http://colleenpal.blogspot.com/2009/06/reason-392-i-love-ian-or-garden-veggies.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. Reason #392 I Love Ian (Or, Garden Veggies Rock! Yesterday was the Summer Solstice, aka Ian and my 1st-year anniversary! This whole anniversary thing got me thinking about how awesome Ian is and how much he does (for me included). He is such a hard-worker! Take, for instance, our huge garden in our backyard- almost all created and TLCed by Ian. Oh, and Ian hand-built our composter barrel so that we can send unused goods right back into the earth. Recycling. Sweet.

You never know, it's always changing. Thursday, February 25, 2010. As previously mentioned, I'm moving to Seattle. Part of getting ready involves eating as much of the food I've hoarded in my cabinets as possible. Rachel and I tend to get carried away with food (bet you didn't know that, did you? The rest of the lentils in the house - red and french green. The rest of the hot yellow curry powder. The rest of a baggie of dehydrated onion flakes. The rest of a Pacific tetrapak of chicken broth.
