Nothing much exciting has been happening here in our little corner of NoVA, so I'll just give you all a bulleted list of highlights. Joshua is still looking for a job. He has something like 30 applications in circulation, so we are hoping for something soon! We enjoy seeing crocuses and look forward to seeing daffodils in just a few days! Our Life in the South. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. A brief update on the last 9-ish months. After reading the blogs of several cousins/friends, Joshua and I have decided that we should start a blog of our own. So, here it is. :-). Last time we saw many of you, we were planning to work at Camp-of-the-Woods over the summer, and we had no idea what we would be doing after that. We did work at camp, and fortunately by the time we were done there, we had a place to go! We would be happy to welcome visitors!

Once again, it's been a long time since we've posted.we kind of fail at this blogging thing. :-) But since our last post, many good things have happened in our lives, and I wanted to share some of them with you. One of the most important things: we both have jobs! For the rest of the summer, we are looking forward to visits from my parents and Joshua's brother and his girlfriend. Our Life in the South. Thursday, February 10, 2011. In Praise of the Lentil. But really, if you haven't eaten lentils, give them a try- they taste much better than they look. :-). February 10, 2011 at 10:27 AM. I recently discovered lentils too! Im not a big bean fan of beans, but lentils arent so beany and theyre SO healthy! I used them in chili once because I didnt have any kidney beans, and I like lentils better anyway! Lentil barley soup and sweet and sour lentils both sound really good!
