I began learning photography at the ripe old age of 17 - after my parents brought me a Nikon D40 for my birthday - and have pretty much continued snapping ever since. Though nowadays, it's more like ooh, look, a new texture for my stock collection! WHICH EQUIPMENT DO I USE? For years and years I used my beloved Nikon D40 with a standard 18-55mm kit lens and a Sigma 70-300mm telescope lens. I have since upgraded to a Nikon D5200 and use a mixture of the following lenses:. 35 - 5.6 VR (kit lens).

In 1977 (over a pint or 2 of beer! An idea was formed by the leaders of the 'MG Car Club Anglia Centre' natter, about a car show. This was subsequently held in the car park of the Queen Victoria Pub in Theydon Bois Essex, where the natter met. It was a great success and held there until 1984. Dave and his wife Veronica decided to move to Lincolnshire, and so it looked like the Queen Victoria car show would end. A conversation in another pub - spot the common link here!
