I applied for the position of Associate Software Engineer at Parexel in Nottingham and was offered the job the same day, so I now have a job and one that utilises my degree to some extent! Josh Hodgetts' Portfolio and Blog. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Project Tabletop VR gameplay video. Just another quick update to Project Tabletop VR, I have added enemy pathing AI as well as implemented a field of view cone for the enemy, if the enemy sees the player character then the level currently resets. Goals have also been added, see the 3 white capsules (temporary art). A timer has also been added which stops once all three goals have been collected. Next up more enemies and polish! Just a brief post of what's been happening over the past week or so, Project TabletopVR has slowed down in terms of features due to Windows 10 not having official Oculus Rift drivers yet however I have added a second guard patrol and improved the atmosphere to feel more like a room. Josh Hodgetts' Portfolio and Blog. Thursday, 18 June 2015. Now that I'm done with University, here is a summary of my projects of the past year. Block Brawler PS4 Project. A 4-player brawler inspired by Smash Bros aimed for a younger audience, by not including complex fighting systems of other brawlers the gameplay boils down to a skill-based fair game experience. Game testing has shown that people of varying ages and backgrounds were able to become immersed in the competitive nature of fighting games.
