Monthly Archives: October 2014. October 31, 2014. This Halloween was the first year that I let the girls pick their own costumes. In the past they were either too young or too apathetic to care so I picked what they were and I always coordinated them. This year I would have loved to have done the same, but the girls had their own opinions and ideas so I just went with it. 8221; and The Hulk growl down pat. His costume was a no brainer. Monthly Archives: January 2015. Jane’s Eye Update. January 21, 2015. We learned shortly after Jane turned two that she needed glasses. Her left eye was incredibly far-sighted ( 6) and her right eye was perfect. We knew from the very beginning of her glasses journey that she would need to patch at some point. Alec has Surgery…AGAIN. January 5, 2016. In November Alec had his 6 month post ear tubes check-up. They checked his ears and tubes and everything looked good and tubes were working. Not too long after, in December, Alec woke up screaming and crying in the night. We comforted him back to sleep but the next morning he was saying “ow” and touching his ear. Monthly Archives: August 2014. August 27, 2014. Jane took a tumbling class this summer at our local rec center and finished out the session shortly after school began. The first day she seemed tired and uninterested. I thought maybe she was just being stubborn. Halfway through the class she came and just laid with me. On the way home I realized she wasn’t feeling well and she threw up all over my car. So…not a great start. Every class after that was a hit, however! Watch Out 3rd Grade! August 19, 2014.

April 5, 2015. The Saturday before Easter, our ward had an Easter Egg hunt and breakfast. They kids had so much fun hunting for Easter Eggs at the church! Easter Sunday landed on General Conference weekend this year. Which was wonderful and special, but also meant we had our little ones wear their Easter Sunday Best the week before Easter. Baby Jack Alexander Johanson. November 19, 2008. Baby Jack was born Tuesday morning via emergency c-section in Ames, Iowa. Immediately following his birth it became apparent that little Jack has some serious problems. He was transported immediately to an EXCELLENT children’s hospital in Des Moines, Iowa (Blank Children’s Hospital).
