Jul 19, 2010. I've decided to get back on the horse, as it were, and record some memories of our life. Sometimes I feel as though I'm putting my heart out there into the nothingness - but these are my memories and this is a way for me to record them. I hope I can remember how to do this! We rode over to a beach front restaurant and picked up yummy appetizers to dine on throughout the evening. I love the way the boat takes away any distractions except for enjoying one another's company. I love you Scottie!

Nov 4, 2011. To China We Go. Kyle and Mary moved to Beijing, China for a three year assignment with the U.S. Embassy. Dad was anxious to go visit them, so I decided to be his travel buddy. Friday, October 8, 2010. Some of the perks of living with Grandpa are movie nights,. Having him to help teach the children at family home evening and dinners together. Bergen thinks he is the greatest. It has been great for us, I'm sure Grandpa is rethinking things with all the noise and commotion in his house! As soon as Cade and Andelin woke up on Bergen's birthday they wanted to make her breakfast in bed.  We made her instant oatmeal and got her a Dora cup of milk and as soon we heard rustling in her room we started singing "Happy Birthday" and took her breakfast in bed.  She thought it was pretty cool to have food in her room! Friday, October 8, 2010. My parents gave us their old piano as they decided they wanted more room in their office. This was my Grandma Thompson's piano and it has seen many moves and a whole lot of love.
