In 2006 I wrote The Lair Up There. It was the first official graphic novel (i.e. comic book) I'd written since primary school. Before this all my illustrations were done purely to support the written stuff. I held the (false? Notion if I included complete artwork with my submissions to publishers, I stood a better chance of getting a yes. This is May Hemlock,. I wrote this as a fantasy-comedy, but it was, and is unapologetically violent. Looking back now it's pretty obvious why publishers didn't go for it as a children's title, but I was young and foolish and thought it was genius. Three examples of character development for the animations on the Health&. Web series. The brief was to come up with a happy, lovable dad figure for their 2 minute cartoons on health and well-being. A man who loves to laugh, doesn't take himself too seriously and is fun to be around. Sort of like an upbeat Homer Simpson. These were a few of my sketches.

A series of developmental sketches for tree shapes in Sonoa's Health&. Animations. These were created in the early stages of production to feel out the direction and look of the project.
A few corporate jobs

These were created as part of a series of eight murals to go up on the conference room walls of the Sonoa. Offices in Melbourne, Australia. When all eight are lined up along the wall it visualizes how word-of-mouth and storytelling have always been the most popular method of communicating, even when it comes to health knowledge.
