Letters to Luthien: November 2010
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
It was actually great! Bus ride from Providence to Manhattan- I managed to get you and Bastian to sleep at the same time! Playing with Georges in his room:. Playing (and not really wanting to share) with cousin Olivia at Aunt Trisha's house:. Playing at the park with all the cousins. You were delighted to find the big turtles, frog, and whale! It was a beautiful weekend- a bit warmer than New England so the leaves haven't fallen off the trees yet. Here are the adults hanging out:. And it felt great!

Letters to Luthien: October 2010
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The changing colors here in New England have been so beautiful, and very fun to discuss. It makes certain songs. That we've been listening to forever so much more meaningful. Two weekends ago we had a visit from Dad's brother and sister Uncle Beau and Aunt Trisha, and each of their families. We had so much fun! First they came to see our new house, and you showed your cousins, Georges and Olivia all of your toys- like your rocking boat:. Next, we got ready to hit the town:. After the restaurant, I was th...

Letters to Luthien: December 2010
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Well first I will start by telling you I cannot believe all the new things you are doing/saying on a daily basis. It would be far too much to record, so I will just list a few new developments. 1 You say the funniest, and we think most clever things. I really need to start writing things down right after you say them so I can record a few of the classics here. Something you have started saying often is, "Say it louder. When I say something you like- as if that seals the deal? 3 You can now retell stories...

Letters to Luthien: Alive
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2011/08/alive.html
Well we're still alive and well my Luthien, just caught up in summer. I love that summer is something that can be enjoyed, looked forward to, and full of outdoor activity rather than dreaded! On top of all this it feels as though we have been house-sitting all summer. There are definitely some perks to this, and the current home we are staying at you never want to leave, but mommy and daddy are definitely ready to be done, and can't wait to feel a little more organized in the confines of our own home.

Letters to Luthien: Quote for this week
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2011/09/quote-for-this-week.html
Quote for this week. Mom (calling from bedroom): Luthien, please come back in my room with me! Luthien: No mom, let me jump down to the couch! M: No Luthien, you need to come where I am and bring Bastian because I can't watch you out there right now, and you're making Bastian jealous! L: Mom, I need you to stop telling me what I can't do! M: What did you just say? Mom can't believe her ears so she walks out to the family room, only to find Luthien rolling around on the ground. Journals to my little ones.

New Years 2010.Almost caught up. New Years was anticipated [almost] as equally as Christmas, because we were expecting a visit from Nana and Grandad. Being so far from them has been the hardest part of this move for you, since we used to live so close and see so much of them. Just today you said about 4 times, "I need my Nana" and about 2 times "I miss my Grandad" (sorry Grandad! Your Uncle Kade and Aunt Carlie also surprised us with a visit at this same time! Here, another picture with Daddy:. You misse...

Letters to Luthien: This Many
http://jessicaandrome.blogspot.com/2011/07/this-many.html
My little Lu-Lee;. It seems everyone is asking how old you are, or how old you are turning these days (appropriate, given today is your big day). No matter how many times I tell you to say "three" instead of just holding up your fingers, and even though you can say the number perfectly (even the /th/! You still prefer the finger/"this many" method. This makes things especially difficult when talking to family over the phone! Just one of the many things I am loving about you these days. It was so cute to ...

My little Lu-Lee,. I will explain these pictures very soon, so sorry to have been neglecting your journal. I love you, and if you remember I wrote A LOT to you in your first year of life, just like I have been with your baby Bastian's blog/journal. 05/28/11- Here I am to update, and it will be a quick one because I want to start telling you about more recent happenings, but let me just explain these pictures from our AZ trip.
