Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3: Panorama
http://josieimaging3.blogspot.com/2010/05/panorama.html
Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3. Monday, May 24, 2010. Here is my finished panorama. It was taken at the top of Burnt stump hill, out the back of Gungahlin. Not too happy with it really, as the sky is incredibly boring. It did stitch nicely however. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Picture Window theme. Powered by Blogger.

Josie Cosgrove - Location 3: Next Class - Response to question 7
http://josielocation3.blogspot.com/2010/05/next-class-response-to-question-7.html
Josie Cosgrove - Location 3. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Next Class - Response to question 7. If you were expected to do a travel shoot, what would you possibly be expected to shoot? As travel photography is essentially 'advertising' a place, you would normally be expected to shoot landscapes, street shots, portraits etc. that capture the beauty and culture of the place you have been asked to photograph. Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3. Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Just doing some experiments with HDRs before I put my presentation together. This was in Burano in Venice, it was a lovely little island with wonderfully coloured buildings. It was quite spectacular. I included before and after pictures to give you a feel of the effects of a HDR image. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Picture Window theme. Powered by Blogger.

http://josieimaging3.blogspot.com/2010/05/calibration-3.html
Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Unfortunately I was ill for this calibration and was not present. But Chi did a very good job after help from Geoff to change the colour balance. So hopefully the next calibration will be as accurate as this one! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Picture Window theme. Powered by Blogger.

Josie Cosgrove - Folio Development: May 2010
http://josiefolio.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Josie Cosgrove - Folio Development. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Final Draft - Poster. Here is my poster for my RSPCA campaign. It hasn't changed since my first draft as I am pretty happy with it. So I decided to make 'Pet is for Life.' my main message, and I have kept the same two fonts throughout my campaign. The blue colour on the RSPCA logo has stayed as my font colour throughout also. Final Draft - Banner. Final Draft - Pamphlet. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. 3 Mediums First Draft - Updated Concept. I had mult...

Josie Cosgrove - Folio Development. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Poster - Version 2. Ok so here is my second version of my poster. This time with the dog lying down and without the shadow going across him, so I think it does look better. Still not sure about the text, I tried moving it around but this was the position which worked the best I think. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Poster - Version 2. Poster - Version 1. Josie Cosgrove - Location 3: February 2010
http://josielocation3.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Josie Cosgrove - Location 3. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Next Class - Monoblocs, Mobilities, Portable Fill Flash and IR triggering devices. A Monobloc (or Monolight) is a self contained flash unit that is generally smaller than conventional studio flash units, making it easier to take on location. They have an independent power source, meaning they do not need a power outlet, and are operated independently from other flash units. This is useful as each light can be set to different settings. However whe...

Josie Cosgrove - Location 3. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Next Class - Response to question 6. What do you like in a landscape photograph? I think that the most important part of a landscape photograph is detail. It can be effective to have very simple landscapes, but I really admire a landscape photograph which has great detail in the foreground, middleground and background. Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3: Presentation - HDR
http://josieimaging3.blogspot.com/2010/05/presentation-hdr.html
Josie Cosgrove - Imaging 3. Tuesday, May 4, 2010. After saving the files on your computer edit the RAW files as you would normally (sharpness, saturation etc.). Creating the HDR image. In my presentation I used the program Photomatix, as I feel it is the best program to create HDRs as the tone mapping controls are very easy to use and it is easy to personalize the kind of look you want. Once you are happy with the result, you can save it and you are done! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
