The second attempt was reusing the leftover poaching liquid from the first time since there was a lot of it remaining. Usually we would just grab a bottle from the store since I was not aware that it is doable at home. With this recipe shared by Just One Cookbook. With the money, I would be able to get plentiful of homemade Sesame Dressing that would last me like a month of so if I were to eat this everyday. I am submitting this to AFF#1 - Japan.

Even more tempting was the recipe only ask for 3 ingredients, 1 part sugar to 2 parts water, and of course, the bananas. 1/ Combine water and sugar in a pot, then heat up till sugar dissolves to form a thin syrup. 2/ Add in banana pieces and let the banana cook in syrup over very low heat for 60 to 90 minutes.

Thursday, December 3, 2009. 星期天，上了時常在關仔角納涼時見到的“賭輪”（賭博郵輪）見識見識。乘客人口統計：男的女的個占一半，80%以上年過五十，99.9%是華人。吃了免費午餐，在賭臺上搏殺了一個多小時的輸輸贏贏又輸輸后，有點納悶，畢竟場內通風不是很好，就到甲板上吹風、拍照。甲板上兩對十幾來歲的小情侶，卿卿我我，摟摟抱抱，完全漠視他人的注視，六十塊上船觀賞真人鐵達尼號，真的值回票價。在船上碰到了以前家樓下的老安迪，問她跟誰來？她說是自己駕車偷偷到碼頭上船的，而卻跟兒子媳婦說下坡底探朋友。賭船的魔力可不小，連老人都可以為了它欺瞞打妄語。另外一個Uncle，在連輸幾場后，口口聲聲說賭博真的是賭不過的而放棄了，但沒消幾分鐘，又看到他在另一桌繼續出錢出力，阿Q精神真的被黃炎子孫廣泛的使用。原來，這里是另一處老人Happy的地方，不過要記得身上必須留下幾塊錢來搭Taxi回家。 Posted by Desmund Teh. Jottings Of Japan Part 2. Since last post, I took action. I decided rather than saying. I wanted a better work/life balance, I decided to actually do. I realised I needed to reign in the workload. I realised that if I didn't speak up, nothing was going to change. So I spoke up. And I found that after I did, I felt a whole lot better. It's amazing how powerful talking can be. Letting things out rather than keeping them in. And then, I left the office at 730pm. And didn't bring work home. I am loving it.
