So, a long while back I got an idea from Studio 5 to buy an old chair and paint it to be the birthday chair – a place where your kids can sit at the table on their birthday. Since she was the only girl from our family to go they told her she could bring a friend along, so her and Ainsley got all dressed up as princesses and went to the Tea Party. Emily and Ainsley are waiting to go into the party. They are so excited! The room was all set up in pink and purple. Perfect for an all girl Tea Party! What a pretty princess! Sunday, November 15, 2009. Yes, I'm finally blogging about Halloween. Granted it was a couple of weeks ago, but hey but late than never is always my philosophy. Michael was a rock star. Alex was Obi-wan. Emily was little red riding hood. We picked pumpkins from a great pumpkin patch, backyard pumpkin patch. Those pumpkins would not give up their vine. After dragging it across the yard it they finally let go. We went to the school parade. The kids were very excited! Michael loved the pumpkin guts the best!

Saturday, August 29, 2009. Today we were invited to the 21st annual Make a Wish Rubby. Ducky Derby and MAW reunion. We went to Seven Peaks Water Park where they were holding the derby. Previously duckies had been purchased to help fund children's wishes for Make A Wish and today was the big race. First prize winners won a weekend trip, new car, and other great prizes that were donated for the winning duck owner. Alex and Emily are ready to go have some fun in the sun. All in all we had an awesome day!

Saturday, March 6, 2010. In January we got to spend some time with Logan, my sister's little boy. We haven't seen him since they moved out of state to finish up school. The kids were so excited to play with Logan! Alex was excited he got to play with Logan all day! They played so nicely without even one fight or disagreement, which was a very nice change. Logan is totally into Robots so we dug out some of our fun costumes. Alex's favorite was the knight! Could it be the sword? I love their hats!

Tuesday, September 8, 2009. This last weekend we went to Parowan. For the Iron County Fair. We had a blast at Nana and Papa's house. Our good friend Megan and her kids came with us. On Saturday we played dress-ups. The kids had a lot of fun dressing up in the great costumes. Michael's wearing a doctor's outfit with his favorite glasses. He thought the glasses were hilarious. Favorite was the wigs. He found a matching green wig with long hair. Michael's a cute french man. Makes such a cute little girl!
