Friday, October 2, 2009. I love that this is considered fun for the kids. Michael found his Miquon. Math workbook the other day and asked what it was. I told him and he asked if we could do it. Sure! So Maddy got hers out to and they spent the next hour and a half or so doing math. At one point Michael was struggling with something and Madeline asked him if he wanted to copy her work. He said "No thanks, all the answers I need are in my brain." I love this, just love it. :). I just did a canning post.

Friday, August 7, 2009. Marah was old enough to stay awake this year. She really enjoyed watching the fireworks. Michael spent most of the night like this. Then fell asleep on my arm. He insisted he did not want to go inside though. We had lots of cool baths when the weather hit 107! Michael lost his first tooth. Naomi gave Marah a black eye. We went to the beach twice. This is trip #1. Cannon beach was warm and we had a blast. This one of Naomi's many faces. The kids love the waves. LIFE is Good Tribe.

Camping trip to Beverly Beach (August). Nov 1st, 2011 at 2:39 PM. Welcome to Newport, Oregon! Enjoying the campfire with G&G. Checking out the fish at the Hatfield Marine Science Center. On the docks at Newport Bay- we watched a charter fising boat come in and got to watch them unload their catch and clean/prepare it. Very cool! Maybe my favorite experience of the whole week! Nov 15th, 2013 at 12:28 AM. Usually my favorite month of the year, this September was wetter than usual. No worries. We were still able to get out and have some end-of-the-summer adventures. Labor day drive up to Mt. St. Helens provided us with some spectacular views! A day trip to Astoria was also a lot of fun! Heres a view of the bridge fun the Astoria Column. Ready to climb up the column. Letting a glider go from the top. Where the Columbia meets the ocean-A panorama of the whole area. The Story of Us.

To mark the occasion, the little guy chose a Peter Pan theme for his party and Silly and I set about turning the backyard into Neverland. Last day as a 4 year old. Family dinner at Chuckie's.
