And Olivia, in the backseat, was a rock star and (almost) didn't complain about all of the driving, waiting, driving, and dashing in and out of the car. This was an important day. Friday, February 27, 2015. I have always been amazed with the grace, strength, and courage with which Olivia has faced her various medical appointments. Two surgeries, overnight hospital stays, six infusions, and blood draws. Barely a tear shed. Even when she broke her leg right after coming home, I was the one in shambles. When we go in for her "bone juice" infusions, she watches them insert the needles and asks them about all of the details. She climbs on my lap to comfort me when I get my flu shot.

Olivia, as you can see, loves to smile and to laugh. She was born February 9, 2009 (a great month for a birthday.mine is February 1 and her aunts have birthdays on the 4th and 5th).
