Living with Chronic Pain. Hello, and thank you for visiting my blog. I’m Mariann, age 63. I’m a retired homemaker. I worked in the geriatric field for 12 yrs. Now, I’m home and I do love it. I have many interests that keep me busy, and focused. Being focused is the staple of what I do on any. Given day. So,. I’m writing this blog to help those suffering with Fibromyalgia as I do. I never knew about chronic pain. Was diagnosed with FM. Chronic Fatigue and Osteoarthritis are part of my diagnosis.

Describing what your pain feels like to someone who does not suffer from fibromyalgia or chronic pain can be difficult. On the one hand you don’t want to over exaggerate your pain and come off sounding like you are constantly in excruciating pain (unless of course you are). On the other hand you don’t want to downplay your pain.
