On strength and non-attachment. | Journeying Inward
http://journeyinginward.com/2014/04/21/on-strength
On strength and non-attachment. April 21, 2014. On strength and non-attachment. Many concepualizations of strength focus on courage and seem to imply that to be strong means to be without fear. But, really, what is courage? Courage is not the absence of fear but the transcendence of fear. To be brave means to acknowledge your fear and to move past it. And so, what is strength, then? Why I write. | Journeying Inward
http://journeyinginward.com/2014/03/06/why-i-write
March 6, 2014. I think a lot. I always have. Images and words are in a constant state of flux within me. Sometimes I try to make sense of them and sometimes I simply accept that making sense is an act of futility. Why would you search for yourself outside of yourself? I promise that the self you’re searching for is not hiding behind that promotion or behind that new car or behind that beautiful love affair. The self resides only where it has been all along- within you. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Journeying In Faith | Christian Faith, Full-Time RV, Traveling, Design/Construction, Worship Leading
Christian Faith, Full-Time RV, Traveling, Design/Construction, Worship Leading. The “Journey” is…. I guess it really started about fifteen months ago. We realized that we had the freedom to step back and examine where and how we wish to live. Life has typically seemed to have been a series of events that led to different paths, resulting in living somewhere based on those circumstances. A week or so later, we are growing in relationship with brothers and sisters, under great teaching, and becoming part o...

my journey in this world – finding joy in everything
My journey in this world. Finding joy in everything. Zooming out to 2017. Grief, marriage, politics & life. Two years gone, but no day has passed. Thoughts on the journey. Journeying with family and friends. Zooming out to 2017. What if, picking a goal, a resolution, or a word limits our focus? What if doing this actually puts God in a box? The second picture is of the same fence post, however; it was taken with a 15mm lens widening the view. By choosing not to pick a goal, or a word I’m choosing t...
