Ester's journey of fun! Next stop: central America. Thursday, 2 June 2011. From San Ignacio to Flores to Antigua. Having rested in San ignacio, I set off to the the ATM cave the next morning. I did pop by a mayan ruin called cahal pech, though to be the oldest, dating back to possibly 1200BC. But once you get in it's still a living museum. A lot of the original ceramics offered to the gods are still lying around, along with about 5 skulls - one of which has a full skeleton! Guatemala feels a lot differen...

Ester's journey of fun! Next stop: central America. Sunday, 15 August 2010. North and West of Tokyo. I didn’t stay for the dancing but I saw the decorations which were really pretty. There were over 3000 of them! Some of them shops along which they were hung but others made by students etc from all over. Oops So I ended up getting right back on the bus (which was an expensive ticket! But, instead, I’m leaving for Singapore tomorrow… It’s a pretty good life out here sometimes! Ester's journey of fun! Next stop: central America. Sunday, 2 January 2011. Despite begin stuck in Japan, 2010 ended pretty well and started quite peacefully! After a crazy few days in the run-up to Christmas, I managed to settle down a little and spent Christmas Eve with a friend of mine and her family. This friend did a homestay in the States when she was in high school, so her host family from back then always sends her kids a lot of presents, and she celebrates Christmas the right way! Ester's journey of fun! Next stop: central America. Friday, 29 July 2011. Granada, San Juan del Sur to Costa Rica - Liberia and Monteverde. I did a little retake of the beginning of the track, and this time I was able to see the trees growing inside the crater, which was pretty cool.
