Journey on an unknown path. Sunday, October 18, 2009. It was Diwali in India yesterday! Fireworks everywhere.all night.all morning! Candles lit everywhere in the street. And string lights are hung everywhere. Everyone singing Happy Diwali! We bought fireworks and the owner of the guesthouse, Annil, bought many as well. And we all set them off from the roof-top. So this has been two celebration we have been able to be apart of here in India. Have been learning how to cook Indian food. I will miss India.

Journey on an unknown path. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. WE arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal on the 24th. What we have done so far:. Stayed in Bagsou for two weeks. Listened to the Dali Lama teach on Buddhism. I will never forget the Tibetan singing before each teaching. Met a lot of really great people. Ate too much food. Traveled on very long bus rides. Learned how to make Thali and Chai. There are even designer face masks for women. Walked around the beautiful the Bodhnath Stupa last night.

Journey on an unknown path. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. So we spent a little extra money and took a jeep to Dharamsala from Vashisht. Was really worth it. The most beautiful drive. We met an Israeli couple that we have been traveling with, Omar and Lione. Has been different the last couple of weeks because I do not feel as though I am in India anymore. And funny because, we were only suppose to be in India for two weeks and it has been over a month now. October 15, 2009 at 9:13 AM.
