Journey To A Genesis. Our journey to a new beginning. and many more. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. The last 5 feet lay in sight. But, no day goes by without some type of challenge. One of the back hoe’s tracks falls off and we can no longer move the machine. We’re stuck. With a job unfinished. But, instead of fretting, we have to laugh. Why not? We take the opportunity to explore with the girls and clear out underbrush to create a new child’s play place beneath the fir and larch trees.

We headed back home by the east side of Skaha Lake. It was a beautiful drive. As we drove we came around the corner to find a hidden gem. It was so exciting. Right there was our idea of a perfect little straw bale house. The building was built as a fruit stand for the Matheson Creek farm. August 6, 2015 at 7:16 AM.

For Valentine's Day we went out to our property to see how much snow we still had, hoping that it was melting and soon to be gone with all this beautiful weather. We brought the old snow blower along as we wanted to clear the area where the septic tank will go so that the ground can start thawing as soon as possible. I never thought I'd be so excited for something like a septic tank. Yay, for little steps!
