Journey To Baby Austin. Follow along as our family of three waits to become a family of four. Thursday, June 6, 2013. Tuesday our passports arrived via overnight mail with our Chinese visas! We are set to go to China! Now we just need a couple more approvals. The process was moving quickly until this step. And I know realistically that we will be traveling this summer. I really should not complain but the wait is just getting hard. I am ready to go and bring our little girl home. 6/7/2013 Article 5 issued.

Journey To Baby Austin. Follow along as our family of three waits to become a family of four. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Has it really been 3 months? It seems like yesterday that we stepped thru the doors at Metro airport carrying our very exhausted little girl. Yet Thursday marked 3 months home. During this time Linh has become very comfortable in her home and even more comfortable with us. It seems as though she has always been here. She is such a happy and fun little girl. Asian Treasures: It came and went.

http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015/08/it-came-and-went.html

Saturday, August 1, 2015. It came and went. July is gone.completely G.O.N.E. I'm not sure how I feel about this being his last year of elementary school. I remember feeling like we'd never have a child. I longed for the day that we had someone to send to kindergarten and do fun things with during summer breaks. I dreamed about who teachers might be and hoped that there would be friends that were there through thick and thin. How are you feeling about summer winding down? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Asian Treasures: February 2015

http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 15, 2015. We're trying.really trying to stay away from the bad-for-you drinks and stick closer to having our 8-ish glasses of water a day. This has been helpful! It's been helpful for me and the kiddos. Our current favorite infused water is pineapple! We have tried strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, also. Last summer, we had a lot of cucumber water with cukes from the garden. If any of you drink infused water, what is your favorite flavor? Sunday, February 1, 2015. So Long, San Antonio.

Monday, April 6, 2015. A one-handed challenge for you. I dare ya. I'm not sure I should double-dog dare ya, but, hey, ok, I will. I double dog dare ya to jump rope with one hand. Are you brave enough to share a photo? We have written in LittleMister's 504 Plan that he can make adaptations for things in art, music, pe, etc. Jumping rope (or jump roping.I'm pretty sure that's not even a word) is hard for our guy. I saw a video clip on facebook that got us to thinking. David and I set out on a mission.

Asian Treasures: June 2015

http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 27, 2015. Did you even know we were gone? Some of you may have and others had no clue. I'm ok with that; hope you are, too. We recently had a family reunion at the YMCA of the Rockies. We left town on a Monday.right after I got off work at 1pm. We picked up my mom and headed about 2 hrs. west of us to drop her off at my sister's house. They were going to ride together to CO for the family reunion. We decided that we hadn't seen each other in 5 years. Fast-forward a few years. If we were ac...

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Have you heard the song Words. If not, I'd encourage you to take about 4 minutes &listen. Go ahead.I'll wait. : ). We talk lots about our words and our tone. Awhile back, it was more the tone of voice that was used, rather than the words used. Nothing seemed to be working.lost privileges, early bedtimes, not playing with friends. So, we tried vinegar. Asian Treasures: Imaginary no more!

http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015/08/imaginary-no-more.html

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Years ago, literally years ago, I joined an on-line web forum hosted by Holt. Our adoption agency. I 'met' people from all over the world. My hubby refers to them as my IMAGINARY FRIENDS. When you have something so near and dear in common with strangers, it does draw some of them closer. We've exchanged Christmas cards and laughed and cried and rejoiced as we each moved through the adoption process. We knew each other was coming and were excited to finally meet in person. Our fam...

Journey To Baby | One Woman's Struggle with Infertility and In Vitro

One Woman's Struggle with Infertility and In Vitro. May 13, 2015. In hindsight I shouldn’t really give Dave that much shit for this because really what is he gonna do besides sit there and hold my hand and look pretty. A lot of husbands/partners don’t come in to the room for the procedures (I don’t know maybe I’m the weird one), but I see them sitting in the waiting room all the time. May 13, 2015. My conversation with the discount program lady went something like this:. Consent Forms and Paperwork.
