Asian Treasures: It came and went.
http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015/08/it-came-and-went.html
Saturday, August 1, 2015. It came and went. July is gone.completely G.O.N.E. I'm not sure how I feel about this being his last year of elementary school. I remember feeling like we'd never have a child. I longed for the day that we had someone to send to kindergarten and do fun things with during summer breaks. I dreamed about who teachers might be and hoped that there would be friends that were there through thick and thin. How are you feeling about summer winding down? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Asian Treasures: February 2015
http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 15, 2015. We're trying.really trying to stay away from the bad-for-you drinks and stick closer to having our 8-ish glasses of water a day. This has been helpful! It's been helpful for me and the kiddos. Our current favorite infused water is pineapple! We have tried strawberry, blackberry and blueberry, also. Last summer, we had a lot of cucumber water with cukes from the garden. If any of you drink infused water, what is your favorite flavor? Sunday, February 1, 2015. So Long, San Antonio.

I saw a video clip on facebook that got us to thinking. David and I set out on a mission.

Saturday, June 27, 2015. Did you even know we were gone? Some of you may have and others had no clue. I'm ok with that; hope you are, too. We recently had a family reunion at the YMCA of the Rockies. We left town on a Monday.right after I got off work at 1pm. We picked up my mom and headed about 2 hrs. west of us to drop her off at my sister's house. They were going to ride together to CO for the family reunion. We decided that we hadn't seen each other in 5 years. Fast-forward a few years. If we were ac...

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Have you heard the song Words. If not, I'd encourage you to take about 4 minutes &listen. Go ahead.I'll wait. : ). We talk lots about our words and our tone. Awhile back, it was more the tone of voice that was used, rather than the words used. Nothing seemed to be working.lost privileges, early bedtimes, not playing with friends. So, we tried vinegar. Asian Treasures: Imaginary no more!
http://quiriechronicles.blogspot.com/2015/08/imaginary-no-more.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Years ago, literally years ago, I joined an on-line web forum hosted by Holt. Our adoption agency. I 'met' people from all over the world. My hubby refers to them as my IMAGINARY FRIENDS. When you have something so near and dear in common with strangers, it does draw some of them closer. We've exchanged Christmas cards and laughed and cried and rejoiced as we each moved through the adoption process. We knew each other was coming and were excited to finally meet in person. Our fam...
