http://journeytoclaire.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 18, 2006. James and I went to our doctor's appointment last week. Our doctor was SO sweet and got us all the meds we will need and sent us to an official "over seas travel briefing." This is where I learned that my "old" records (that are lost in archives) must have record of my immunizations. Since we have no proof, better safe than sorry. I received SIX immunizations total at one time! James only had to get two. Lucky dog! I have Claire all packed! Na I will just buy more there. We ca...

Journey to Claire: One Year With Claire
http://journeytoclaire.blogspot.com/2007/09/one-year-with-claire.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2007. One Year With Claire. Minutes later I could not contain my emotion but I sucked it up in order to not frighten our new little girl. We realized that we were starving! We decided to give Claire a bath. We had been warned that the Chinese children are not put into water until they are much older and that she may be afraid of being in a bath. Nothing could have been further from the truth! The year has been intense. Surgeries and military deployments were our mountains to cl...

Journey to Claire: October 2006
http://journeytoclaire.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 21, 2006. Claire is loving the weather here and thinks that hunting for pumpkins is a blast. I hope that she enjoys hunting for a Christmas tree as much! We also visited a corn field on this day and had roasted corn. YUM! Friday, October 20, 2006. It has been forever since I was able to write in here. I will try to do a few entries to get us caught up to date. Having a toddler around has been a great joy again! She makes us laugh continuously. She is also very active!

Journey to Claire: Claire is GREAT!!!
http://journeytoclaire.blogspot.com/2007/07/claire-is-great.html
Thursday, July 12, 2007. Claire is doing VERY well. Susan came to visit her last night and they went on a very long walk. Claire directed her to the play area and even convinced her to take her outside in our heat wave. Did I mention that Aunt Susan was in long sleeves, and black? Pour Susan, but she was a trooper and Claire had a great time. She started having bowel movements yesterday and today we have started liquids! James and I are so pleased for her. She is doing remarkably well. First 4th of July!

Journey to Claire: June 2006
http://journeytoclaire.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 25, 2006. We were sent a photo from another family who traveled to Maonan last May. It is good to see her smiling. More exciting news . we got to see Claire in a video from another family who traveled last July. Her head does MOVE! It is only for a couple seconds, but sometimes it feels like she is frozen in time with the still shots. It was good to see her , even for just a few short seconds. Kind of makes it more real! Thank you all for your prayers. God bless! Thursday, June 15, 2006.
