A journey to honor the spirit in you which is also in me. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Sunday's 108 Sun Salutation practice left me in massive pain. Sore muscles and sore other things I didn't know COULD be sore. Ouch. Lifting a glass to drink water was painful. But at the same time I felt fantastic, accomplished and I had this constant urge to do half Sun Salutations. And while that's all well and good, I knew I needed to quiet my mind and my body. Which is fun, because every time I go to a class it's like it is new to me in some ways, though some ways not. I'm always learning something new, though. Meredith helped me see that I need to quash these "big expectations" I set for myself and learn to celebrate the "little victories." I do this, you see. I set massive expectations for myself. And I almost always experience serious letdowns as a result. Yoga, through Meredith, has finally taught me that this is a ridiculous ritual (insanity, anyone? 3) I am sleeping better.

So all I'm saying is, if Dr. P. thinks this lifestyle has changed his life and has value, I'm inclined to jump on board too. After some research, I realized that some of the stuff I already enjoy in moderation are in line with Ayurvedic treatments. Turmeric. The Schizandra (or Schisandra) berry. Speed up, old friend!

Dvoutýdenní dovolená v Chorvatsku donutila mě i moje rodiče k nějakému tomu výletu, a protože jsem neměla možnost minulý rok, tak aspoň tento jsem šla s nimi. Takže jsem navštívila město, do kterého se zamilovala moje maminka. Čtvrtek 4. srpna 2016. 30 hodin v Budapešti. Nakonec to byl jeden z nejlepších výletů v mém životě.
