We started dating on April 20, 2006. Ricky FINALLY proposed (after much begging and threatening, jk) on February 3, 2010. He proposed by playing the guitar and singing "I Wanna Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler from The Wedding Singer. It was very sweet and there were a lot of tears. And of course, I said YES!

Journey to the Best Shape of my Life. Sunday, August 9, 2015. It's been a while so here is a brief update on the awesomeness that is my life right now! I moved to Florida! I managed to land a faculty position in an awesome department at the second largest university in the country which happens to be in the fabulous city of Orlando. I'm quite elated about all of these things. I did quite a bit of traveling this summer (8 cities in 9 weeks), and somehow managed not to slip out of my workout routine at all.
