Monday, April 6, 2009. It's been over 2 weeks since we arrived in Islamorada and I thought it would be a good time to update the blog. Amy and the kids enjoyed visiting the Florida Keys History of. In Islamorada. If you make it down to the keys and enjoy diving, we highly recommend it. Allie was able to hold her breath for almost 2 minutes at the "How long can you hold your breath" exhibit. Think the fish was about an inch longer than the lure. but at least it had teeth. Posted by Brandon Griffin.

Friday, April 17, 2009. On Sunday we took Starlight out for a snorkeling trip to Hens and Chickens reef off of Islamorada in the A. Tlantic Ocean. We left early in the morning after getting the boat ready and motored our way toward Snake Creek. Once we got to Snake Creek, we radioed the bridge operator and waite. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. The Keys At Last! After 55 loooooooong hours, we have arrived in the Florida Keys. The trip down will be an experience. Autopilot, broken tiller, faulty over-temp alarm on the engine, hitting a crabpot in the middle of the night, and running aground.
