Monday, January 13, 2014. One morning after boot camp, Sportball just happened to be doing a demo right after our class was done so Isaac checked it out. And LOVED it! Isaac talked about 'his sports' for days so we signed him up. He is super excited to start! Monday, January 6, 2014. Jacob is signed up to start soccer this spring and he is SO excited! He likes us to set up soccer drills for him to practice. These were taken Sunday morning before church, around 7:30 am. Yup. He's excited!

Wednesday, May 22, 2013. A couple weeks ago we finished our letter-o-the week preschool and I am going to miss it! We had so much fun every week and made some great memories! I've probably posted most of these pictures before, but I wanted to do a little recap of our year together. This was the first week - Isaac, Josie and Livi all ready to learn about the letter A. And his first worksheets. He was so proud of himself for writing the letter A! Josie and Isaac hard at work mixing up some cookie dough.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. New Years Eve Hike. On New Years Eve we headed up to Oak Glen for a hike, a picnic and playing on the playground. Isaac loves the playground up there, but is not a huge fan of hiking. We told him if he hiked with out whining we would go to the playground after our picnic. He decided to be our guide. He loves maps! I think Jacob was warning us about wild animals. Jacob loved reading the nature facts to Isaac. That's Isaac's smile. So hilarious! What a fun way to end the year!

Tuesday, July 23, 2013. We left at 8:00 pm and drove through the night. Crazy? Maybe But it makes for a much more pleasant 14 1/2 hour drive when the boys sleep through most of it! We arrived early afternoon and after settling in and having dinner we went to the rodeo. It was their last night and since it was the Fourth of July weekend, they set off fireworks at the end. The next morning we took the ski lift up to do a little hiking. And lots of playing in the sand. The boys wanted to play mini golf first.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010. My boys love to get into things, usually resulting in a large amount of cleaning up for me. This morning I was adding flour to the large bin I have in the pantry, (normally used for baking not playing). Grady- "I baker Mom, See? Me-"Grady, what are you doing? Grady-"I building a castle". Saturday, December 28, 2013. Fortunately everyone was healthy the day after Christmas so we were able to celebrate with my family. We just had to wait for my mom to get home from jury duty. But she was sent home pretty early so we could go over for lunch and then open gifts. I always make photo calendars for my parents and give them at Christmas. No more playing basketball with a soccer ball. YAY! I think my parents picked a winner when they gave Jeff the 'Backroads 4 wheel drive trails' book.

Thursday, June 20, 2013. Anniversary Trip Part Two - Lummi Island. Tuesday morning we drove up to Lummi Island (off the coast by Bellingham). After a very short ferry ride, we arrived on the little island - population 816. We were pretty hungry so we ate our packed lunch (from a delicious French bakery in Seattle) at some picnic tables. I commented to Alan how the only thing we could hear were the birds. Bliss! So, unpleasantness aside, let's get on to the good stuff! One lady spun yarn from dog fur!

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Jacob's spring break started off with Easter. The boys had fun doing their egg hunt! My mom got them little Easter baskets with a few fun little things in there. The light sabers were a big hit! I won't say it was the best Easter we've ever had. Isaac was a complete whine-o and Jacob was a rascal which was super irritating, but hey, I guess every holiday can't be all Little House on the Prairie, right? Isaac loves playing with his Rescue Bots. The masked hot air balloon driver!

Friday, March 22, 2013. Our Super Hero Turns FOUR! On March 9, Isaac celebrated his fourth birthday and oh boy, was he excited! We gave him a couple gifts first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, most of those pics didn't turn out due to camera operator error. Oops (yeah, that was me, but hey, it was early in the morn, okay? But, here he is in his new mask and red boots. Spidey to the rescue! Two of our smallest heroes. It took longer than I had planned on and she saved the day by doing it for me.
