Saturday, July 23, 2016. Tuesday, July 19, 2016. We went with our friend J. to the Museo de la Filatelia (i.e., the Stamp Museum). It was surprisingly interesting. It was mostly impossible to take pictures, since most of the exhibits were behind glass, but I got a nice shot of these corn husk dolls. (Don't ask me what corn husk dolls have to do with stamps.). Monday, August 22, 2016. Things that are different about the U.S. and Mexico. In Mexico there are a lot of stray dogs living on the streets. They are often (but not always) very thin, sickly-looking, and usually scared of people. In the U.S. there are very few stray dogs. There are a lot of animal shelters and if someone finds a stray dog, they usually take it to one. And here's a photo, just because every blog entry should have a photo.
