AM Sewing: Oh, my stars!
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2015/02/oh-my-stars.html
Sunday, February 22, 2015. Oh, my stars! 325 x 32.5 inches. A non-quilting friend visited recently and art directed my houses top. After trying different options, we both concluded that the top was finished the way it was; there was nothing more to add except a purple binding. . Once it's quilted, of course. A dozen stars so far. Double pink was this week's featured fabric. I've been making two versions of Barbara Brackman's Stars in a Time Warp. Fresh Cut and a selection of Grunge from Basic Grey. Point...

AM Sewing: March 2015
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 8, 2015. 1718 Coverlet QAL and other projects. Multiple projects going on here. The border strips for the Grand Illusion Mystery are pieced. So close to finishing, but, ugh, long seams. I'm putting them off. I have several Time Warp stars cut out. Five types of madder and indigo, which I'm piecing in between my 1718 Coverlet blocks. I'm enjoying it though. Especially when the days are sunny and staying light longer. Stars in a Time Warp. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

AM Sewing: Cascadia mystery solved
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2014/11/cascadia-mystery-solved.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. Cascadia Doll Quilt, 16 1/2 x 18 1/8 inches. I finished putting together Lori's Cascadia doll quilt mystery. It was small enough that I layered the top and backing with right sides together on top of the batting, stitched around it except for an opening to turn it inside out. Now I just need to add a bit of quilting. So close to being finished now that it might actually get done! My last version of Lori's quilt-a-long is still only a top.). Your Cascadia is beautiful! AM Sewing: Ooops! Missed September
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2011/10/ooops-missed-september.html
Sunday, October 16, 2011. I'll have to recap that month later. Lots of travel, not a lot of quilting. I did finish the flag top. Ta da! My version of the flag quilt. Picture of the original old quilt. 65279;Only eight years in the making. Of the top anyway. We'll see how long it takes to get it quilted as I seem to have quite a pile of those. I'm quilting the star baby quilt now. Actually, that's done. Working on the binding. Used the star scraps from that to make this little number. Flags, 56 x 77, 2012.

AM Sewing: End of the year finishes
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2012/12/end-of-year-finishes.html
Monday, December 31, 2012. End of the year finishes. These two have been finished for a few weeks, but I didn't have both a sunny day and a tall enough quilt holder at the same time until yesterday. This one is going to my new niece, who was born at the beginning of the month. The size is a bit big for a baby quilt, but I think she'll grow into it. The fabrics are so cheerful they make me smile. Scrappy Churn Dash, 61 x 61. My version of Bonnie Hunter's mystery Roll Roll Cotton Boll. As I was looking at ...

AM Sewing: Pointless Lone Star
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2012/06/pointless-lone-star.html
Saturday, June 2, 2012. Pointless Lone Star, 86 x 86, pattern by Sarah Fielke. From Quilters Newsletter August/September 2011. Another finish from the last few months was the quilt for the couple whose favorite colors are purple (him) and pink (her). Again quilted brilliantly by Maggi Honeyman. This was a fairly easy pattern because there are no set in seams, some strip piecing and only four very large blocks. Back of Pointless Lone Star. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
