5 September 2010 | The Daily Happy
https://joyfulblog.wordpress.com/2010/09/05/5-september-2010
A Daily Dose of Happy! 5 September, 2010. Giant wasps make me happy. I mean, as long as they’re fictional giant wasps and not real ones. And this one, the wasp was a vicar. He wasn’t a wasp in vicar clothes; he looked like a normal vicar, but he was really half-human, half-wasp, an alien wasp, and he could turn into a wasp form. And it was on. Velociraptors make me happy because the word is fun to say, and because they aren’t waiting outside of. Know where they are? 5 September 2010" (1). Build a website...

https://joyfulblog.wordpress.com/2010/07
A Daily Dose of Happy! Archive for July, 2010. Weird menu items and random text messages make me happy. They make me happy because there is no other way I would ever get a text message on my phone asking if I would ever eat duck testicles. Yes, duck testicles. I don’t even know what to say about it. I’m speechless. I’m also laughing pretty hard, which makes me happy. So… ah… quack…? Follow Blog via Email. A Daily Dose of Happy! 22 August, 2010. Celery makes me happy. I love that it crunches. I like to break it and get strands of celery curls. I like the smell of it, all wet and verdant and “celery-y”. It’s fun to eat, plain or with ranch dip or with peanut butter. It’s fun to say. Celery. 22 August 2010" (1). 23 August, 2010 at 15:23. Glad to see you blogging again. We were very happy when they finally opened a farmer’s market right near our new place. We love farmer’s markets too! Enter your comment here.

Three Shouts on a Hilltop: March 2014
http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Thursday, March 13, 2014. Pagans, Polytheists and St. Patrick's Day. Just a quick update, I have a short article recently published on the Gaol Naofa site. Which ties into an earlier piece on Oisin, Cailte and Patrick. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Three Shouts on a Hilltop: "Our" Values: Subversion, Paradigms and the need to change them
http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2014/12/our-values-subversion-paradigms-and.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Our" Values: Subversion, Paradigms and the need to change them. My lover's got humour. She's the giggle at a funeral. I should've worshiped her sooner. If the heavens ever did speak. She's the last true mouthpiece. Every Sunday's getting more bleak. A fresh poison each week. We were born sick,' you heard them say it. My Church offers no absolutes. She tells me, 'Worship in the bedroom.'. The only heaven I'll be sent to. I was born sick,. I'll worshi...

Three Shouts on a Hilltop: Marginalized voices and generational consequences
http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2014/12/marginalized-voices-and-generational.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Sunday, December 7, 2014. Marginalized voices and generational consequences. When we, and in particular the "we" I am referring to are those who enjoy a great degree of cultural, social and economic privilege, are confronted with the voices of those "others": the marginalized, the disenfranchised, the less privileged (and this is a very wide spectrum, cutting across a number of groups), what are we supposed to do? It is soon told. And so long as she dwelt within. The king of Ul...

http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Makes for a nice poster, but no, no it isn't. Fuck all of that shit, all the world needs is love. Well, I beg to differ, but as always a caveat, lest you think me curmudgeonly. Fiction and music, on the whole, emphasize love and in the broadest sense this is meant as. Or more accurately, since no physical expression of this love occurs, the subtext was held to have been extremely homoerotic. So while it is a subtext, and such is usually the source of...

Three Shouts on a Hilltop: February 2015
http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Sunday, February 1, 2015. Our" Values: Mythology, Media and Identity. To conclude this conversation, I made the following case: So you are perfectly fine with awesome miracles being depicted, like a lone person parting a massive body of water, and still understanding the film as historic? You are also fine with egregious artistic licence being taken which significantly alters known history, and still cut the film some slack? And not less, accurate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Three Shouts on a Hilltop: January 2015
http://threeshoutsonahilltop.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Monday, January 19, 2015. The Canard of "Pagan Fundamentalism" or Reconstructionists are meanies. I came across a recent blog post on a rather heavily trafficked Pagan webPortal decrying "Pagan Fundamentalists", speaking out against these fiendish ne'erdowells who seem more at home with the likes of Fred Phelps or Jerry Falwell than Cathbad. They are listed as follows:. The belief that gods do not evolve alongside human civilization; rather, they reached maturity at the time th...

Three Shouts on a Hilltop. Thursday, January 2, 2014. Gentle, Fair-Cheeked Brigid. Brigid the merciful;. Brigid of the broken heart;. Brigid an croí briste. Brigid of the hearth;. It is difficult to express in words the overwhelming outpouring of emotion and profound joy at the simple thought of Brigid. I suppose this is what Pentecostal Christians must feel like when they are "in the spirit", but I want nothing more than to sing of her praises to all who will hear, whether they listen or no. May we bear...
