Zeit für ein update. nach langer Gedenkspause kommt wieder frischer Wind in unser Zuhause :-). Hier ist sie, Dream Goldi vom Hause Gürtler, Malinois, 2,5 Jahre alt. Nachdem sie die Probezeit mit höchsten Noten bestanden hat, ist sie nun offizielles Mitglied unserer Familie :-). Kurz nach ihrem 13. Sabato 23 maggio 2009. Die zweite Woche ist um, und es gibt wieder einige Neuigkeiten. Mayday fühlt sich inzwischen immer sicherer bei uns zuhause. Wenn sie im Freien mit anderen Hunden toben kann, blüht sie richtig auf! Sie hat nun auch entdeckt, wie schön es ist, richtig rennen zu können! Zwar ist ihr Galopp noch etwas unkoordiniert, aber es wird von Mal zu Mal besser. Sie geht unseren üblichen Spaziergang durch die Obstwiesen brav mit, und ich muss sie kaum mehr tragen :-). Riesce a fare tutta la pass...

Venerdì 15 maggio 2009. Kaum zu glauben dass schon eine Woche um ist. May macht große Fortschritte! Sie wird sowohl im Haus, als auch im Garten immer sicherer. Vor zwei Tagen habe ich sie mit auf den Hundeplatz genommen, wo sie sich recht entspannt verhalten hat. Sie hat von allen Leuten Futter genommen, und ist mit allen Hunden klar gekommen. Futter verteidigt sie weiterhin, aber nicht mehr ganz so scharf wie zu Beginn. Ha anche imparato a fare le scale da sola, cosìcchè non la dobbiamo più portare in b...

Sabato 6 giugno 2009. Week 3 and 4. Langsam wird es wieder Zeit für ein update! In den letzten Wochen haben wir allerhand erlebt! Wir waren in München zu Besuch bei Freunden, wo sich Mayday Border-wohl gefühlt hat. Wieder zuhause zurück gekehrt hatte sie ein paar Tage lang einen argen Rückfall und war wieder sehr unsicher, aber seither geht es nurmehr bergauf. Sie läuft die Spaziergänge problemlos mit - allerdings haben wir uns noch nicht in die Stadt gewagt. Hier ein paar Bilder aus München! Week 3 and 4.

Venerdì 13 novembre 2009. May's summer of 2009. Langsam wurde es wieder Zeit für ein update! Wir waren ein paar Tage in München, mehrmals in Pandino (CR) bei unseren Freunden der Nuvole Rosse. In diesen Monaten hat Mayday sehr viel gelernt:. Lektion 1 - das Leben ist schön! Treppen gehen ist kein Problem. Der Staubsauger ist kein Monster aus dem Weltall. Haushaltsgeräusche gehören nun mal dazu. Essen vom Tisch zu klauen ist nicht lustig. Gäste wollen mich nicht entführen. Die Wohnung ist kein Hundeklo!

I guess that’s what being alone for too long can do to a person. I’m too eager. I’m too afraid. I’ve been on my own for too long. I push away the people who I care about but try so desperately to hold onto them until they are withered and tired and don’t know what else to do. Maybe I’m a job that is just too big for Cupid. I have to go to work.
