The last Disney vacation blog post! From this year, anyway! Of our group of 32 Disney vacationers, 10 of us participated in the Run Disney Weekend……Lynn, Leanna, Stacee, Kendra, Olivia, Julie, Clay, and I ran only the Half Marathon. Jimmy and Esther ran the DOPEY CHALLENGE. Clay, Me, and Lynn in the Magic Kingdom.

Two weeks ago when I returned home from Rustic Youth Camp, my garden was flourishing! Then THE DEER FOUND MY GARDEN! And it was basically ruined. In about one day. :(. I cannot tell you how upset I am about the deer ruining my garden! I'm glad my family is not depending on my garden for our food this winter. I love it here!

Will Run For T-Shirt. Sunday, December 20, 2009. Happy Birthday, Daddy! Today would have been my Dad's 78th birthday - he passed away almost 8 years ago. It's always hard this time of year because I miss him SO much but there's also a strange comfort I get when I allow myself to stop and think of all the great memories I have and reflect on the man he was. Well, I'm no longer a child and I AM a runner so I must say, man, didn't he have it all figured out? Dad, I totally get it now! I can hardly wait!

Will Run For T-Shirt. Saturday, November 7, 2009. Six in the City. Today I did 6 miles in downtown Memphis. Running by the river always cheers me up and today, I especially needed some cheer. This has been a particularly bad week for me. When I showed up for today's 6 miles, I fully expected to do 6 laps around the St. Jude.
