Sunday, January 17, 2010. God is faithfully molding me, shaping me, and stretching me in ways that are in and out of my comfort zone! I am not sure where this adventure is going to end up, but I have no doubts that it is going to continue for the rest of my life as I walk faithfully in obedience with God. The exciting news? God is never boring! Two weeks ago I was proposed the idea of being video taped talking to God about wisdom and decision making. My thought was me? I am the most fickle person ever!

Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Has it already been 3 weeks I have been student teaching for those precious little people? I am starting to teach more and more as I learn the art of teaching 5 year olds! And yes. I mean it when I say art! You have to not only teach them, but keep them on task and entertained simultaneously! You have to play policeman, counselor, nurse, and so on all in one day. In case you haven't realized. we love chicken. :) The first time I had Russian Chicken was in 2008 when Royce and I spent our summer working at the Inn at the Lake. Bed and Breakfast in Lake City, Colorado (that was when and why I started blogging). We had a group of men come for a weekend retreat so, along with breakfast, their group also got dinner. Royce and I both loved it, but for some reason I haven't made it since! 1 lb of chicken breasts or tenders.

Pax thought sitting in the grass was pretty great. Until we brought out the camera. And Samson didn't make things any easier. However, the fussing was eased with an "airplane" ride. Monday, November 29, 2010. And my blogging skills have clearly NOT improved. Here are a few pictures to sum up the last several months. I finally conquered the weeds at the end of September/early October and Royce helped me put down a new layer mulch to try to keep them under control until Spring. So far so good! At the end of October we celebrated our good friend, Sam's, 30th birthday. This picture with Mel is one of my three. Hopefully we'll be a little more stationary over Christmas break. :).
