http://kempffamilyof4.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 26, 2010. Before we ate the guys tried to put together Noah's early Christmas present- a new train set. However, sadly the company sent a couple of wrong pieces and we have to wait until we get them to put it up. Bummer! But Noah and Sidney will love it when it's finished. Thanks Granny! Now we're looking forward to a relaxing weekend, and the beginning of Advent on Sunday as we prepare for the birth of our Lord in four weeks! Can you believe it's only FOUR weeks! Monday, November 1, 2010.

It's the only solution. The kids were happy. I ate it after they went to bed. no, not ALL of it. But quite a lot. PS I KNOW I haven't blogged in a month. We haven't had a whole lot going on. But I did get a new cookbook that I really like (this particular round of baked oatmeal came from this. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, February 24, 2011. What Do YOU Do On A Cold Rainy Day? We like to make up new recipes. We created this today, Almond Joy Brownies. Noah helped, of course. And we like to eat pizza. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. This is what my kids had for dinner tonight:. Sidney looked at me like I was crazy, took one bite, then promptly threw it on the floor. Noah, however, was in heaven:. Can't be perfect all the time, right? This time it was, "but mom, I'm making you some coffee". Sunday, February 20, 2011.

http://kempffamilyof4.blogspot.com/2012/03/little-of-this-little-of-that.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. A Little of This, A Little of That. After a week of being sick. let's catch up! Hmmm Sid got a haircut. Correction. NOAH cut Sid's hair, then I chopped it all off to make her look less like an 80's throwback. She took it well, better than me. But now I love it! Last weekend one of my girlfriends almost killed me with an on-post run, up and down hills. If you know me, you know I despise a good run. but I did owe her for taking three classes in a row at The ARK. The kids and I did...

If you're a crockpot freak, as most busy moms are, here are two veggie recipes you MUST try. Kempf Family: April 2012
http://kempffamilyof4.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 4, 2012. 1 Proverbs 31. everyone knows it, it's one of the most talked-about passages involving a woman. It tells us how we live lives of noble character. what we should strive to be, and that charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. (v 30). Here's what the book, Created to Be His Helpmeet says:. As you can see from these passages (and there are others! God is VERY clear about modesty in the Bible. How can we apply that to our lives?

Kempf Family: Spicy Hummus
http://kempffamilyof4.blogspot.com/2012/03/spicy-hummus.html
Sunday, March 18, 2012. 1 can garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas). 1 can white beans (or a second can of the above- I like the white beans because they make it creamier). 1 lemon (juice of). 4 minced garlic cloves. 3 Tbsp. tahini. 1/2 Tbsp. oil (I used grapeseed, for it's mild flavor, but olive or canola would do too). 1 1/4 tsp. salt. 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper. 1/2 tsp garam masala (you could probably leave this out, but I think it adds just a tiny bit more heat and flavor). Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri.
