On His Wings: January 2012
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. I try to keep a normal routine for Kaitlyn, so I sit her down on the couch, wrap her up like a taco, and turn on Thomas and Friends while I stand under burning water. Honestly, I can't remember if I washed or not. Thursday, January 19, 2012. What if that 1 in a million chance of "xyz" happens? Where's my emergency checklist? There's a heavy uneasiness and an equally strong sense of peace when life depends entirely on Him. We love him because He first loved us.". Now the fun pa...

On His Wings: New Arrival
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-arrival.html
Thursday, January 19, 2012. Faster than last time. During contractions I am driven and 100% focused on my role and supporting Joy. It's in between that my mind wanders, sometimes to a picturesque lake in the pre-dawn morning fog, two fishing poles, a bucket full of nightcrawlers, father and son. Other times I play the "what if" games. I can't help it, I'm a pilot. What if this doesn't go right? What if that 1 in a million chance of "xyz" happens? Where's my emergency checklist? So, without further adieu,.

On His Wings: Say What?
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012/12/say-what.html
Saturday, December 15, 2012. Anybody ever look back and remember some of the things they said when they were teenagers? The CRJ200 that I am training in. I think I've finally learned to shut my big mouth. How does that quote go? So, next time you're presented with a fork in the road, take a minute to stop and think about which way you're gonna go. Take a chance, risk.you just might like it. This is best aviation school for students and for pilot also. February 7, 2013 at 3:37 AM. March 5, 2013 at 5:12 PM.

On His Wings: May 2011
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 28, 2011. Time On The Ground. They're huge and as we circle around again, I notice the grass surrounding them covers their lower halves. That's some tall grass! It's a little sobering as I eat my PB&J and corn nuts from the US. I try my hardest to imagine what a day-to-day life would be like for these people, but it's just so hard. They are eager to hear about life in America. How we always. Is it a road or an airstrip? What are your little blessings? Monday, May 23, 2011. Believe it or not...

On His Wings: January 2011
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. So, my photo for today would be me cringing and ducking right before I turn the circuit breaker on for the first time after re-wiring it, crossing my finger and hoping I don't melt/electrocute/set on fire/or otherwise ruin perfectly good and expensive equipment. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Click on the link to learn more about it if you want; I don't have the heart to tell you about it myself. Thursday, January 20, 2011. A Little of Everything. Did someone fall out of a tree?

On His Wings: A New Found Appreciation
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-found-appreciation.html
Saturday, January 14, 2012. A New Found Appreciation. We took Kaitlyn to the park again today and her agility and coordination baffle me every time we go. Sometimes I wonder how she can climb a wall with no problems, but she runs into them when she's walking around the house. Unfortunately, for her usually terrified parents, she's fearless when it comes to obstacles and heights. She always. Her reply, "YEAH! Climbing all on her own.with daddy as spotter of course. Taking a break on the swing.

On His Wings: August 2011
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. I can't help but notice some of the same people are still. As we wait, I'm trying to brush up on my French anatomy.fingers, toes, heart, legs, boy, girl. I don't get to use those words a whole lot around here! Then we ask him to see if it's a boy or a girl. He checks for maybe another 5 minutes before coming to an "undecided" conclusion. I have my own conclusions from what I saw.or didn't see, as the case may be, but you'll just have to wait and find out! Sunday, August 7, 2011.

On His Wings: February 2011
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 25, 2011. We are teaching Kaitlyn how to color with crayons. She's teaching us how to eat them. Notice the hand she's using :). That's the way the day started, and that's the way the day ended. Flew in the morning, worked on the house in the afternoon, the good Lord decided to bless us with city power today, we got a package from a dear friend back home, and we are all three healthy! Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Photo of the Day. That's right, you can. Time we receive a box. And it's ...

On His Wings: Waiting
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012/01/waiting.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. It's Friday the 13th, the "big day," but nothing seems to be happening yet, and we're getting a little impatient to finally meet our little boy, but I suppose he has his own timing and we will just have to wait! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). MAF has recently started a blog. Where field stories, news, videos, and other information are published on a regular basis. I will be writing a story for them every once in a while from my experiences here, so check back often!

On His Wings: Terrible Two's???
http://chriskonop8.blogspot.com/2012/01/terrible-twos.html
Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Look at my seashells mommy! I don't know, maybe Kaitlyn is just the most obedient child ever. Ok, maybe not the most. Obedient, but for the most part, I am really enjoying this age- she is so interactive and hilarious! I love to see her mind go a mile a minute, and it's refreshing sometimes to see the world from her point of view. We tried our hand at making sand castles, but that didn't last long. So we spent most of our time collecting seashells and playing in the water.
