Drop Us a Note. Opening for Fired Creations by Carlo Proietto. We were very fortunate to host. A solo show for an Italy-based artist Carlo Proietto. When Proietto was asked to about his process, he explained that he paints with a burning utensil. “Pyrography” he said as he gestured a drawing hand motion. Proietto is one of the few artists that use pyrography, a traditional form of mark making fashioned in the early 20th century in Art Nouveau woodworks. We have more photos of the opening here.
