Thursday, April 7, 2011. Diary to Apr 7. Shopped in Hexham. After lunch I cleared out the leaves and crud from Ann's gutters at the rear of the house – can't get a long enough ladder to do the front! Then began to get the clips in place for putting the netting over to keep them out in future. But time ran out and I had to get home to prepare her tea. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Diary to Sep 28. It was a wild wet night but in the morning it had reduced to drizzle in the driving wind. I had to see my GP for a follow-up appointment. She was very pleased with my progress and has signed me off, and gave me a moisturising shower gel - with a strict warning to avoid slipping when I use it! Still mild; I managed to get a sack filled with rotting hosta leaves and crab apples, etc before we set off for Hexham, and another sack after lunch, when I took them to the tip. It was my day to make Ann's tea and I couldn't do any more in the garden because it was starting to rain. I guess it must have closed down!
