Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Gotta love this kid! We're having a great time with the little guy these days. I was so glad to have Heady and Quinn back home after a week away. There's a new picasa album. With photos from the week. Monday, April 20, 2009. The little guy has learned some new looks in the past little while. Friday, July 01, 2011. Returned to a terrible week of cold weather the sun finally came out and it almost felt like summer. Every spring, I still question why we live here. No palm trees or ocean, but pine trees and splash pool will do just fine. Q was so happy to keep his Mom around, she hasn't cracked a book since the exam. High 5s for sure! Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Our Christmas tree in Calgary:. We cut our own tree in Bragg Creek this year. Assessing the tree quality. This was before he realized that he could pull off the ornaments and eat them. And eating the ornaments. Christmas at the Patterson's in Sharon. Sunday, October 03, 2010. After 5 years of anticipation for this rotation, Heady is finally flying with STARS! She shared the excitement with the entire family. Q was initially pretty pumped about the helicopter, but soon was distracted by all the "ana-planes" outside. I can't wait to fly - only 4 more years. Great Nanny can't wait to show the pictures to her friends when she gets home. They got a call when we were in the hanger, but unfortunately got called down and we didn't see Heady take off.

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. A Return to Livin' Part II. After unwinding in isolation on Kaui, we felt brave enough to tackle another island. We went from one-way bridges and isolated beaches to 4-lane highways and resorts. but it's all good, we're on vacation! It was all I could do to keep him out of the water - no concept of what a good. Pretty diverse landscape from dry uplands to lush valleys. Stormy nights but 25 degrees and sunny every day. Our evening routine. Run him till he drops. And in the pool.

Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Well, better late than never. We had an amazing Christmas up in Canmore with the entire family. Heady and I were so grateful that both our families made the long trip west. Hopefully we can convince them to come every year! Despite the cold, we were able to get out and spend some time in the mountains.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. Quinn is loving the new bumbo and his independence! As usual, more pics on picassa. Doesn't seem interested in the beer. Laughing when we put him in the chair! He puts everything in his mouth now. Sleeping in the chariot. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Now that Quinn is 3 months, it seems that he is much more alert and interactive! We are having a blast getting to know his personality! There are more pics on the picassa site as well. This is the mom-why-are-you-kissing-me-again face.
