I was somewhat expecting Montreal to be like France when it comes to the lack of vegetarian/vegan restaurants. In Paris, if you do a search for the top 10 vegetarian restaurants, you’re likely to yield a result of less than 10 spots to choose from and most of them won’t be vegan. I have only been to Montreal three times, so I can’t say for certain if the selection is that much better than Paris, but I did find this amazing vegan eatery called Aux Vivres.
