Shannon's Random Thoughts: October 2006
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Tuesday Sept 19 - EPCOT. EPCOT = Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Ok, maybe EPCOT isn't exactly what Walt Disney had invisioned when he came up with the idea, but it is still one of my favorites. As a matter of fact, I have a hard time picking a favorite between Magic Kingdom and Epcot. And I knew that my kids would love EPCOT as well. WE'RE AT DISNEY AND WE'VE GOT THINGS TO SEE! Next, was Mission Space. Philip was too short to ride this, and Zachary decided ...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: Thankful - Day 16, books
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2010/11/thankful-day-16-books.html
Friday, November 19, 2010. Thankful - Day 16, books. Now that first week, I neglected way too much. Dishes? Let 'em sit in the sink, I need to know what is going to happen next. Dinner? Let's order pizza, mom's reading. Oh wait, use paper plates! I don't want to have to wash plates . mom's reading. At least I've gotten past the neglect part. But, I am determined to not let go of reading again. I'm watching far less TV, and I believe that is a good thing. And that makes me truely happy. Thankful - Day 7, ...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: September 2008
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Catching up on my life. Some of you know what's been going on and some don't. I've really neglected my blog for a while - sorry! Like I said, some of you know what's up, and will understand. I had a scheduled tradeshow in Anaheim, California. I discussed it with my doctor and it seemed fine. I worked tradeshows through both pregnancies without a problem. So, I left my hotel at 6:30 Wednesday morning and arrived home around 5:00 pm - and I spent the next 4 days doing almost NO...

Monday, September 18, 2006. Monday Sept 18 . Animal Kingdom (and work again). So it is now Monday September 18th. We have finished with our Magic Kingdom visits. I have to work from 3 pm to 8 pm at the convention, so we have plans to hit Animal Kingdom EARLY (it is morning Extra Magic Hours on Monday at Animal Kingdom - normally opens at 9 am, but today, just for us-and all of the people staying on Disney property- it is opening at 8 am.). We then headed to the Tree of Life, where we wanted to see the It...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: July 2008
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. There is no denying that Philip, our youngest, is 100% HIS FATHER'S CHILD. Those of you who know him, know that Chris is a total smart ass, and always has been. And apparently, Philip takes after him. Thursday, July 03, 2008. I'm still alive, but I haven't been on myspace much at all lately (they expect me to work when I'm at the office getting paid). Though I have been keeping up a bit and am on Facebook a bit more. Right now, they have tennis lessons two mornings a week. N...

Shannon's Random Thoughts: January 2008

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Those damn wrist bands! We are once again at battle with my kid's school. Chris is on a rampage, though the school has not responded to his email yet. He will take it further and further until they do. The purpose of this bright orange lovely plastic jewelry that must not be removed from my kids wrist? Where is the positive? Zachary's band was "broken" the first day. He was to carry it in his pocket for a while - some teachers said to do that, some said that doesn't count!

Shannon's Random Thoughts: March 2011
http://ssleblanc.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 10, 2011. Back in school, I remember reading a short story. Well, I guess we read a lot of them. But this one sticks out in my head. I don't know why. The name was "The Rivet Removers", or something like that. Naturally, over time, it was no longer just a harmless rivet or two. And the airplanes fell apart. What reminded me of this story I read nearly 30 years ago? At least it gives me something to gripe about. Obviously I needed it given that I haven't posted to this blog in months.
